Spessartine Garnet

Spessartine garnet is the most prized form of the pure members of the pyralspite garnet. Eye clean spessartine in large size is difficult and expensive to obtain. Our spessartine is mostly cabbing grade with an occasional facet grade stone. About 80% of this material has been tumbled and it ranges in color from bright pumpkin orange to honey-orange. Spessartine's high refractive index and dispersion make it a very lively stone.
