Agate is a mixture of different materials however most of what is cut as gemstones is largely silicon dioxide. It is found in many places and in a variety of forms. The pictures are the best representation I can get for these stones. Most of the pictures show white spots which are light glare and some of them show a shadow band (especially the high domed ones) which is caused by the direction of the light. I have described any exceptions of actual inclusions on the stones for which it is relative.
